Who is eligible to apply to the Program?
Applicant must work at a participating BURGER KING® restaurant and have been active on the BK® restaurant payroll for 12 months as of the application deadline. Applicant must be a high school senior, college undergraduate, or graduate student.
What is the awarded amount of the scholarship?
The amount of the scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable $1,000 award.
Where do the scholarship funds come from?
Funds are derived from the Foundation's endowment.
What are the selection criteria?
Students are selected based on their grade point average, work experience, financial need, co-curricular activities, and community service.
Does the applicant have to be employed at a BURGER KING® restaurant to be eligible for a scholarship?
Yes, and applicant must currently work for a participating BURGER KING® restaurant and fundraised for the BURGER KING® Scholars Program.
When and how can I obtain an application?
Applications will be available online in December 1, 2007. Applicants can apply at
www.scholarshipadministrators.net ACCESS KEY: BKE
When is the postmark deadline to apply to the program?
The postmark deadline for the program is February 29, 2008.
Is there a second postmark deadline to apply to the program?
No, scholarship applications must be postmarked by the indicated postmark deadline February 29, 2008.
Can I make any changes to my application?
Yes. To make changes, go to www.scholarshipadministrators.net and then click the "APPLY for a new scholarship" tab.
Will I receive notification that my application was received?
Yes. You can also check the status of your application by going to the following link:

Status" tab.
Will I be notified if I'm a BURGER KING® Employee Scholars recipient?
Yes, BURGER KING® Employee Scholars recipients will receive notification two weeks after the application deadline.
How do you issue the checks?
Scholarship checks are made payable from Scholarship Program Administrators to the college or university of choice on behalf of the student and mailed to his/her permanent home address.
What if my mailing or college information changes after the program's deadline? Can I update it?
Yes. To make any changes relating to your mailing address or college information, go to
www.scholarshipadministrators.net and click the "Edit Mailing Address" or "Edit College Information" tab.
