The HAVE IT YOUR WAY® Foundation is our way to make a difference in the communities where we operate and where we live. This U.S.-based non-profit, 501(c)(3), public charity is a global effort aimed at supporting organizations that alleviate hunger, prevent disease and support youth programs. Additionally, it focuses on the BURGER KING® Scholars Program, and, on a limited basis, the Foundation also supports the efforts of non-profit institutions that seek to improve scholastic opportunities.

The Foundation does not eliminate any of the existing charitable activities among our restaurants or within our Company; instead, it is designed to engender greater support by leveraging the power of our brand to gather and distribute funds worldwide.

The HAVE IT YOUR WAY® Foundation board is comprised of a group of Burger King Corporation executives and franchisees. This group meets regularly and reviews grant applications for funding consideration.

The Foundation only supports non-profit, 501(c)(3) organizations operating in the United States. A 501(c)(3) organization is one that has received a determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service stating that it is tax exempt as allowed by law in the United States.

Burger King Corporation provides administrative leadership, resources and support to the Foundation at the company's global headquarters in Miami, FL. The HAVE IT YOUR WAY® Foundation proudly salutes its Founding Sponsors, Burger King Corporation, The Coca-Cola Company, Dr Pepper, Heinz Foodservice and Sara Lee Foodservice.

Non-profit, 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to improving education, alleviating hunger, preventing disease or supporting youth programs, can access our grant application below. While we recognize that limited resources will preclude our funding every request, the Board is committed to addressing geographic needs on an on-going basis. Each organization must meet the required guidelines noted on the application for funding consideration.
