African American Vendors and Agencies Supplying everything from chicken products to cup holders, African American entrepreneurs conduct over $100 million in business with the BURGER KING® system. To increase BURGER KING® brand awareness and loyalty in the African American community, Burger King Corporation works with UniWorld Group, Inc. - a premier full-service advertising agency specializing in multicultural marketing communications. Our strong relationship with the African American community is due in large part to our working with the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, which, since 1983, has emerged as a major force in realizing the diversity goals of our company. We also support a number of organizations that advocate for the rights, economic advancement and well being of the African American community such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the National Urban League, Minority Franchisee Association (MFA), 100 Black Men of America, Inc., and the African American Chamber of Commerce. Hispanic American Organizations Hispanic American franchisees are strong contributors to the BURGER KING® system. In 1997, this increasingly influential group formed the National Hispanic Franchise Association. We also lend support to a number of other organizations that address the needs of Hispanic American communities including the Hispanic Heritage Council, Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), National Council of La Raza (NCLR), and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC). To increase brand awareness and loyalty in the Hispanic community, Burger King Corporation works with Bromley Communications, the nation's most successful ethnic advertising agency. Asian-American Organizations Upholding its commitment to diversity and equal opportunity, Burger King Corporation has strong alliances with a number of Asian American organizations including the Burger King Corporation Asian Franchisee Association, the Filipino American Library, the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC), the Asian Franchise Association (AFA), Center for Asian Americans United for Self Empowerment (CAUSE) and the Committee of 100. |
