What attracted me to BKC
I was very attracted to the Leadership Development Program. This program offers recent graduates the opportunity to learn various aspects of the organization, while receiving valuable training that furthers our knowledge and growth.
My career path so far
Working at Burger King Corporation for over a year, I have moved from being part of the Leadership Development Program into a full-time role in Talent Management. I have quickly taken on more responsibilities in the space of Talent Management and now run the day to day aspects of BKC’s Global Leadership Development and MBA Leadership Programs, for both interns and full-timers. Since then, I have moved into the Marketing space. Specifically working on execution for all North America merchandising and all market tests.
My view on the BKC culture
BKC is a unique environment that cannot be described in just this paragraph. BKC is a place that grows and forms leaders. We work very hard at corporate and are rewarded for the results we produce. We have a true ownership mentality that allows our employees the opportunity to step up to challenging projects and face them head-on.
My most rewarding moments working at BKC
My most memorable moment at BKC was when we brought 25 LDPs from Europe and 4 LDPs from Asia to Miami for a joint week of global onboarding and orientation. This was the first time in BKC’s history that this happened, and it was amazing to see our LDP program become a global program that touches so many different parts of the world.
My advice if you’re thinking of applying to BKC
Try to do as much research about the company as you can before interviewing. It is important to understand the BKC culture and the current position of the company. Have confidence in yourself and still remain humble.
How I bring it to BKC every day
I bring it to BKC every day because I work hard to accomplish my goals but I do so with a smile on my face. I stay driven and focused but still remain supportive and friendly with my co-workers.
