What attracted me to BKC

The BKC culture. When 3G acquired BKC, I knew that everything was going to change. Every 3G company is unique and BKC represented (and still is) a big challenge that I needed to be part of.

My career path so far

I started as the Sr. Manager of Finance for LAC in July of 2013. A couple of months later I inherited the Supply Chain and Development Analytics functions for the region. In January 2014 I was promoted to be the Director of Finance and Supply Chain for LAC, and I kept the Development Analytics function as well. In May 2014, I got promoted to Sr. Director and became the General Manager of the recently created LAC Central Division.

My view on the BKC culture

BKC is a very exciting place to work. It is very challenging and demanding but also uniquely rewarding. Getting more responsibilities and leading meaningful projects is what motivates everyone to always push for the extra mile and deliver unbelievable results.

My most rewarding moments working at BKC

Achieving the LAC EBITDA target in 2013 has been my most rewarding moment since I got here. Our forecast was trending way below the year’s target until the end of the third quarter. The entire LAC team was so motivated to win the year and turn the business around. With creativity, discipline and a lot of hard work, we were able to make it!

My advice if you’re thinking of applying to BKC

Be honest with yourself about what you want in your life. BKC is not just another “cool” job; it is supposed to be a life project. If you don’t act and feel like an owner, it’s not going to work. It is all about the attitude!

How I bring it to BKC every day

At BKC, just trying is not enough… you have to win! The challenges we face every day are such that if we start with the mindset of “trying our best” we will inevitably fail; we have to always go with full force to “win” in whatever task we do.
